Christmas is quickly approaching and the Social Justice Club of St. Teresa School is excited to begin our annual Angel Tree Campaign!
Your child is bringing home a letter and permission form for the Angel Tree program today. If your family would like to participate, your child can bring back a signed permission form, and then can take a tag from the Angel Tree that states the age and gender of a child. Gifts can be returned to school anytime before Wednesday, December 11th. Please send all gifts back unwrapped, and we will watch the pile of gifts grow under our Christmas tree in the library!
Gift ideas include: toys, small clothing items (e.g. hat, socks), school supplies, and personal items (e.g. hair bands, nail polish, body wash). If toys require batteries, it is also helpful to send a pack taped to the item.
NEW THIS YEAR: If you prefer buying a gift card, there are specific ‘gift card’ tags on the tree and a space to indicate this wish on the permission slip.
Again, the last day to bring back a gift is Wednesday December 11th.
Thank you for helping make Christmas a little brighter for families in our community!
