Dear Parents and Guardians,

On behalf of The Social Justice Club, we would like to thank you for supporting our three Christmas campaigns: Angel Tree, Food Drive, and Christmas Sweater Day. Thanks to your support and donations, the Social Justice Club was able to help lots of people in need.

For Christmas Sweater Day, we collected $560 in loose-change donations. The money will help people in developing countries. The donations granted us the opportunity to buy these items from Chalice (a Canadian Catholic charity): two goats, four fruit trees, malaria prevention for families, feed a family for a month, school uniforms, hats and mitts, water storage tank, baby chicks, women hygiene products, blankets, eye glasses, children’s books, bottles and baby formula and animal feed. All of these supplies will greatly impact people’s lives.

Our annual Food Drive had a grand total of 1952 food items. The food that we collected was sent to the St. Vincent De Paul Society. This Christmas, we raised 486 more food items than last year! Our goal was 1500 items but we surpassed it by 452! Thank you for supporting hungry families in our community.

The Angel Tree Campaign was a grand success as well. Several families got lots of gifts this Christmas making it that much brighter! These families thank you for all your support. It can be a struggle for some families to purchase gifts along with everything else that they need to buy. Our collective efforts and contributions made lots of hearts glow with happiness.

Thank you so much for supporting our three campaigns. With all your donations, we were able to surpass our goals and help dozens of people in need.
